@TheGlasgowJam
VISUAL ARTS POLICY
@TheGlasgowJam (@TGJ), as
an organisation, is committed to promoting, valuing and managing the visual
arts our participants create as part of our jams. The copyright and
intellectual property of the work resides with the artist unless they chose to
waive it away, or leave the work behind at one of the jams.
From time to time, we
would like to promote this aspect of our work and we may ask our visual artists
for permission to showcase their work in our publicity materials, website and
at events. When we do so, we will always acknowledge the artist.
If, as a visual artist,
you would like to sell work (or wares) at our jams, we would like to ask you to talk to us so
we can work out a possible commission for @TGJ (which relies on donations and volunteers
to run).
We would also ask our
visual artists to credit @TGJ as source material if work produced as part of
our jams is displayed outside @TGJ events.
