Yes, yes, yes … We are a little bit late with our newsletter this month but we have good reasons!
On Saturday 6 May, we hosted Robert Anderson, who delivered a sold out class as part of Dance International Glasgow. This was jamming at its best: fun, warm, creative and a little crazy. Thank you Robert for sharing your vast knowledge with @TGJ !
Our next jam is on Sunday 14 May and Mark Rietema will be leading a class 12-1 at the CCA Theatre, followed by a jam till 3.30pm. Mark was with us at the last DIG so some of you had a chance to already experience his wonderful CI and Mind Body Centering skills. Don’t miss it!
DIG is still in full swing until 21 May. Our director Penny Chivas and @TGJ facilitators Sara Bizzoca and Jer Reidpremiered Decline on Tuesday 25 April. Congratulations on a wonderful piece! They will be touring Italy very soon.
There is still lots coming up, some of which we are still holding back on till the next newsletter (we need to keep you excited for the summer!). We are hosting a modified jam score for the Global Underscore. Last year’s was very well attended and such fun. We will catch the opening and closing small dances with everyone else around the world and we will also highlight some of the key themes of the underscore. Save the date: Saturday 24 June, 4-7.30pm at KPC, only £10!
